The dogs have officially ended their hunger strike and are now making up for lost meals, and even want mine. Tonight I made chili. Kiba was standing a foot and a half away, not moving, laser focused.

Last night I decided to take a shot at having the dogs sleep in my room, so I brought in a blanket and told them it was time for bed. Rukia went to the only part of the floor with visible hardwood – right in front of the door, and fell asleep.

Kiba wandered the room smelling everything for about 30 minutes, and finally jumped on the bed. I told him sternly to get down and he did. I fell asleep, and woke up a few hours to find a warm lump snuggled against my ass. I gave up and went to sleep.

I’m pretty sure they like me more than Cameron, and to me, that’s important.

Quote of the week

“Your strength as a rationalist is your ability to be more confused by fiction than by reality. If you are equally good at explaining any outcome, you have zero knowledge.”
